I was just made aware of the fact that in the first three days after establlishing this website that we have had a total number of 728 visitors from over 8 countries (unfortunately I cannot identify, where the .com-domains come from), generating over 32.000 hits and downloading almost 6GB of data!
Wow … WOW!! …
Thank you very much for this!
I even had some schools asking, if they could use the material in class! Yes, please do so! You do not have to ask as long as you do not intent to sell the FA. But of course it is wonderful for me to get feedback and to know all who are using the FAs. Remember, please, to link back to this page in order to improve the Google-ranking
.
The sole purpose of this site is to provide FREE fingerspelling alphabeths – from as many countries as possible, as correctly as possible, for as many people as possible. But I admit, I was not sure of how to get the message across. No doubt the quick spreading of the word is an achievement of Taubenschlag, a huge german plattform for deaf people, which launched an article about fingeralphabet.org last week. Thank you Bernd, I can’t tell how grateful I am for this!
As to everyone who visited this site from not-german speaking countries like Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy … I will be hurrying – promised! – to provide more.
At the moment, especially after the wonderful feedback, I just wish I had more spare time to invest in fingeralphabet.org … As an illustrator at this time of the year (before christmas) you can probably imagine that things are really, really busy.
If there is anybody out there who could help me by providing material or corrections for some fingerspelling alphabets, please let me know. In the list to the right you can have a look at all the alphabets currently in preparation.
If you have information concerning any other country that is not on the list yet, please do not hesitate to contact me too.
Thanks again – you all just made my weekend!

:^) search engine result advertisement consultant Themelis Cuiper recommended your piece – you must be doing a great job as he is pointing towards you?
Interesting, considering I have not put any new alphabets up. But yes, the German alphabets are quite popular and well used – even by the German government …
I am positive the alphabets for the rest of the countries will be well received, too.
Even though people will probably have to sign in for the free versions. Still checking.
