With a very special thanks to Scott Davis Anderson, Peace Corps Volunteer and a team member of Our Talking Hands, for the contact to the amazing students of Koforidua School for the Deaf and Volta School for the Deaf who sent me great reference material.

I am thankful to Mr. George Pinto, Second Sign Language Interpreter at Ghana National Association of the Deaf (GNAD) for his quick response and easy to follow explanations concerning the Ghanaian sign language alphabet, which is very similar – but not quite identical – to the American sign language alphabet.

Robert Sampana, Advocacy Officer at Ghana National Association of the Deaf (GNAD) was so kind to add his voice and expertise by approving and thus confirming the final work.

I am thankful for their efforts and the time they invested.
